Very safe and child friendly area, walking distance to many cafes, bars, restaurants, cinema, Lowry shopping centre, Booths Supermarket (the best supermarket in the UK in my opinion), Old Trafford MUFC, War Museum, Tram Stop to Manchester City Centre. The Trafford Centre is a 10 minute drive and the City Centre is around 10-15 mins drive dependant on traffic.
